  • the Tony Benn vs. David Mellor debate is pointless 'cos you're American and don't know what I mean/you're English and still don't know what I mean/they both stink and will do nothing for the average fan

And now my bit of psychoanalysis:

  • You're one of those people who never quite get the point of running around chasing balls and things, trying to obey pointless rules and, ultimately trying to do it better than someone else.


    • Or, even worse, watching someone else doing all that. 
    CONCLUSION:  I hate to say it, but this page just ain't for you - try one of my other pages or go surf the web and find something on, say, wildlife. 
     
  • You're a person of taste - you know what the most important things in life are, and nothing will ever change your mind.

    • If, on top of this you like soccer, then this page should become a shrine. 
    CONCLUSION:  Fate brought you to this page, and you should spread the news to all good sports fans.  Alternatively, tell me to bog off and go find something better to waste your time on. 
     

  • You may or may not like sport, but unless you're aware that there's more to life than baseball and NFL, you need to broaden your life experiances.


    • CONCLUSION:  A few greenies in there?  You probably won't understand much of what you find on this page, and even if you did you wouldn't like it anyway.  I'd head for a quick exit if I were you.

FOOTBALL
- that's soccer to those in the States.  While football may well be one of the best things since god invented coffee, I (for reasons I can no longer remember) support the Brentford Bees who are, this season, battling hard to climb up towards the top of the table, or at least avoid relegation.  The official site  is badly updated, but there is a really good unofficial Bees site, which will guide you through the maze of disappointments that make up a Brentford fan's life and provide links to other good (and some not so good) football pages.

Rugby and Irish sports

yet again, the rugby team I support (Ireland in Internationals) is bleedin' useless.  Yet I remain loyal ....
Links to Irish sport appear to be few and far between, so try Failte Sport below, who regularly update their rugby listing, as well as providing plenty of other Irish stuff including GAA sport.  If anyone knows where decent rugby links exist, let me know!!!
